Aquatic Body Work Video - Hydrotherapy Video
This Aquatic Body Work Video gives a great insight in the analysis of a person's muscle patterns in the water.
You first have to get used to the fact that you are not seeing the movement of the joints as it relates to gravity as we usually do in Massage therapy.
But the floating effect of the body makes it so, that small stabilizer muscles in the joints relax and therefore only muscles with problems keep their tension.
So by moving the joint through all different angles you can very precisely determine, which muscle or muscle group is at fault and that makes this analysis very efficient.
It takes some time to feel the difference, but the Aquatic Body Work is very rewarding for both the therapist and the client.
