Heavy Handed Swedish Massage Video
The Heavy Handed Swedish Massage Video shows supposedly a deeper form of Swedish Massage.
It's hard to tell from the video, but I don't see anything particularly deep about this style, because Swedish massage is in my books always done with that intensity, unless you work on somebody who is very weak.
The lady mentions that you should see more circulation by getting the skin to turn pink. Hey that's what massage is all about: increasing the circulation, increase the skin temperature - you should always see that. Otherwise you are not giving a Swedish massage but rather just petting someone.
Swedish massage uses a heavier hand, to get a firm and broad contact and you lift muscles during petrissage with a broad contact and are not just pinching of the skin.
What is maybe noticeable in this Swedish massage video is also that there doesn't seem to be a preferred direction as usually used in this technique. Classic Swedish always works towards the heart (to help venous flow) and toward major lymph nodes.

Oil Massage Video Tutorial - Basics
The oil massage video tutorial gives you a little overview about what you need to consider when you give an oil massage. There are many different styles using massage oil - the instructions here are worth considering for all of them, no matter if it is swedish massage, lomi lomi massage (Hawaiian Massage) or ayurvedic massage.
Oil massage is a great way to relax people. You can even warm it a little bit and use long broad strokes to increase the calming effect.

The basic points are the type of oil, which you should use, the amount of oil that you should use, how to prepare your massage table, how to take care of your oil massage towels and sheets and how to properly use aroma oils in your oil massage.
You can also use oil massages in connection with hot stone therapy. Check out the No-Bull Hot Stone Massage Video for the "rock-solid" basics. For one a rock will transfer heat to the body, can be used as a fulcrum (but be careful around bones) and also release some of the aroma oil in the air, to create a pleasant ambience. The Oil massage video tutorial also talk about how you can get rid of towels and sheets that smell like rancid oil - you need to stay on top of your washing otherwise you will need a lot of towels and sheets in your career. Don't try oil massage on a bed, unless you know what you are doing, put down sufficient protection for the matress or just don't care if your bed smells rancid (be especially aware of that if it's not your bed!!!)
