Water Massage Beds

Water massage beds use a dry application of water. How does that sound:? Weird, huh? Well I know, but it basically uses the principals of a water bed, which means the water is enclosed.

Water massage beds use jets inside that travel through the water capsule. You can get a massage from light to deep, the pressure in some of these beds its actually strong enough to lift a 120lbs woman 1 inch.

You might think why bother? Well you can remain fully clothed while using this machine, it's not squirting water all over the place and it is safe to say hygienic.

I guess you could compare it to massage recliners and electric massage chairs, which are very popular. For me as a massage therapist I have to say that the great advantage of water is that it is forgiving. If you have ever sat in a massage chair that is not of the highest quality, you know that this thing can give you a headache or rub right on your bone. The water massage bed is different as water has a way softer quality than a plastic roller. Of course water massage beds are not likely to be used at home, because they are bulky and nowhere to hide, but I do think that these massage beds can be of great use to prepare for instance for a chiropractic treatment or be used as part of spa treatments. It is definitely better than a crappy massage treatment.
